The 2016 Arthur Gander Memorial will take place in Chiasso, Italy on November 2 2016.

The Arthur Gander Memorial competition is always an interesting one and always attracts some of the worlds top gymnasts.

The competition format differs slightly from the normal all-around competition. Both MAG and WAG gymnasts compete and for the women, each gymnast must pick their  three best pieces of apparatus (or the three pieces that will score the best). All gymnasts compete on two of these three pieces and the top six of these two pieces are qualified to the final. The winner is crowned with the score of the three pieces combined. On the men’s side the rules are the same but 4 pieces are competed.

In the past winners have included Olympic, European and World medalist, Daria Spiridonova of Russia, Olympic and European medalist, Giulia Steingruber of Switzerland and Olympic and European Champion, Sandra Izbasa of Romania.
