The next leg of the FIG C III World Challenge Cup circuit gets underway this weekend in Ljubljana, Slovenia from Friday, April 8th 2016 through to Sunday, April 10th 2016.

It will see top gymnasts from across the globe compete for individual event titles as the Olympic Test Event, the European Championships and the National Championships of various countries draw ever closer and the world prepares itself for the pinnacle of the sport, the Olympic Games in August.

It is quite a small field with only 21 WAG gymnasts set to compete this weekend, alongside MAG gymnasts. However Slovenia have brought their top contender. Teja Belak and Tjasa Kysselef, in particular should be taken note of, especially on VT, where they both have been consistently medaling during this years World Challenge Cup circuit. Dorina Boeczoego, two time Olympian for Hungary should also be watched, especially on BB where she displays a unique style accompanied with unique skills.

This competition will also be extremely important for Farah Boufadene of Algeria, Teja Belak of Slovenia and Farah Ann Abdul Hadi who will all use this competition as a practice run before the Olympic Test Event in Rio next week.

8 gymnasts will qualify into each apparatus final.

Qualifications will take place on Friday, April 8th with event finals taking place on Saturday, April 9th and Sunday, April 10th.
