The Baku World Challenge Cup got underway today in Baku, Azerbaijan with WAG and MAG qualifications. In the WAG section of the competition qualifications for the uneven bars and vault event finals took place. Most notably, Daniele Hypolito of Brazil replaced teammate Rebeca DeAndrade who was touted to compete this weekend for unknown reasons, injury being ruled out as a reason. 

After day one, Lina Philipp of Germany and Okasana Chusovitina lead the UB and VT standings respectively.
